Doug Marshall's Table Shuffleboard Project

I wanted to thank you for providing these great plans. They were very detailed and easy to follow even for an amateur wood worker like me!

I made a 12 foot table using oak and dark walnut for the base which was finished with Rubio Monocoat. The playing surface is a dark walnut slab with epoxy. The center beam was made from the center cut from the walnut slab and I added an oak board in the middle to get the dimensions needed to fit through the center of metal legs. The abacus was made from walnut scrap wood and wooden wheels purchased online.

It took 3-4 months to build in my spare time, but I'm thrilled with how it came out. I'm looking forward to the years of fun it will provide with my family and friends!
