Before - The before shows the old lettering that had been hand lettered on with a marker. I sanded it off - not too hard but very dusty. I used 4 coats of Minwax liquid polyurethane, sanding between coats. I have never used this product before, and had trouble getting the right coat thickness to not have brush strokes or bubbles. It's close enough now, and final sanding and wax will smooth out the rest.

I used pinstriping and vinyl letters I got from a local hobby store,
and put the 4 coats of polyurethane over them. I think it will last, and
it looks pretty good.

After - The after pics aren't really the end product. I touched
up the trim with spray paint, cleaned, and I have a few more
repairs and improvements to make.
