Shuffleboard Refinishing
Here are some pictures of Jason LaBonte's refinishing project.
Start of project: I refinished a beat up Playfair Table.
The cradle was in very poor condition.
Here is the other end of the table.
The table after 5 hrs. of sanding w/ 60 grit sand paper.
Half way done - the right side (bottom) is sanded and
the left (top) is not.
I inlaid mahogany for the lines.
I used very thin wood veneer for the numbers.
The table is now ready for Epoxy.
Here is the finished table. I painted the cradle black and replaced the carpeting. I plan on building a new cradle in the future, something that looks like an old Roc Ola
(My Halloween Party) The Geico Caveman and Indian break-in the newly refinished table - it was a Hit!
